Introducing Smart Avatars, a free API to generate unlimited custom-branded user avatars for your app.

Why: The current alternative UI Avatars was too basic. I needed to use Google Fonts and it did not support it. So I saw an opportunity and built a better version.

Why is this better: Smart Avatars includes support for custom fonts (See the list of supported Google Fonts here) and background gradients, both of which create a superior experience compared to other providers on the market.

This was a fun project which I really enjoyed building.
